Penguin Paradise

Penguin Paradise emphasizes some key aspects of Little Penguins lives, including foraging behaviors, reproductive success, and some human impacts. Game mechanics and cards have real study comparisons, like how Little Penguins will forage in groups, but they do not work well together, they mainly do it to avoid being eaten. This is demonstrated in the forage phase by choosing to work together or alone. If you are lucky you will gain more energy foraging alone, but you can avoid the predator cards more by going as a group. Some of my favorite parts were designing cards based around human impacts because overall we are disturbing their habitats, as shown by humans reducing your score, but some event cards need you to have humans to benefit from them.
